What is IKMUN?
Ibn Khuldoon Model United Nations (IKMUN) is an annual two-day high school conference. Hosted by the esteemed Ibn Khuldoon National School, located in the heart of the educational area, IKMUN has attracted hundreds of delegates from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the State of Kuwait. During these two days, students can participate in an array of different roles that replicate the real life United Nations. Choices range from being a delegate, and representing a country in its respective council to come to the best solution through debate and negotion, to being a chairperson and making sure that all goes smoothly in the council, paying close attention to the flow of debate. Regardless of the position, IKMUN will always have something for everyone, and welcomes any and all to attend such a beneficial and memorable event!

“It was a privilege to be a part of IKMUN 9. The idea behind The Test of Time was thought-provoking as it encouraged all of us to look at issues which have been present for centuries. It was my first time as delegate, and while I was anxious, the environment was warm and I did not take long to get engaged. Possibilities to gain new wider horizons, develop critical thinking and give the voice to ideas were some of the benefits I had from the conference.
