Attire Guidelines

Dress Code

Males

Males must wear a formal suit (buttoned collar shirt with a blazer) with a tie or bowtie.
Turtlenecks under a suit is not permitted.
No sneakers, sandals, or flip-flops, stick to formal dress shoes.
No bright/neon colors accessories or article of clothing, earth tones/dark colors are preferable.
Males may not wear jeans.
No complex floral patterns.
Blazers and suit jackets must be worn when approaching the podium or speaking.
Shirt must be tucked in pants.

Females

Females may wear dresses, skirts, or trousers (blazer is preferable but not mandatory).
Sheer panels, cut-out, and see-through clothing is not permitted.
Dresses and shirts must have sleeves.
Females may not wear jeans or leggings.
Skirts and dresses must cover the knee (stockings do not compensate for short skirts or dresses).

High heels must not be longer than 7 cm high.

*All attendees must abide by the dress code set by the IKMUN team.

*Delegates allocated in the Arabic-speaking councils may dress in the national attire (thobe or black abaya). Females wishing to wear the abaya must abide by the dress code stated above.
